  • Objective

This seminar will review and debate current risk assessments, and cost benefits analyses, and the goal of zero failures in the pipeline industry. Acceptable risk levels will be discussed and the inputs into cost benefit analyses will be debated.

The outcome of the seminar will be a collective view on current practices in quantitative risk assessment (approach and acceptance levels) and cost benefit analyses (input data, and agreeing on sacrifice levels).

We know what good practice in the pipeline business is (e.g., IGEM/TD/2 and BSI PD 8010-3), but what is best practice?
