Meet Dr. Phil Hopkins
With over four decades of expertise in pipeline engineering, Phil Hopkins is a renowned consulting engineer known for his significant contributions to the industry. His illustrious career includes roles as Technical Director at Penspen Ltd and Managing Director at Andrew Palmer and Associates before founding his consultancy firm in 2015.
Phil has collaborated globally with leading oil and gas companies and pipeline operators. He is a fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the UK's Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), and a founding member of the Qualification Panel for the Pipeline Industry (QPPI).
A respected educator, Phil has trained over 20,000 engineers and technical professionals worldwide and has held academic positions as a Professorial Fellow at Newcastle University and a Visiting Professor at Northumbria University, UK.
