Fundamentals of Fracture Mechanics (CS032F)

Fundamentals of Fracture Mechanics CS032F

8-Hour Expert-Led Online Course: Develop Your Expertise in Fracture Mechanics

About the Course:

In this 8-hour course, you will explore the fundamental principles, concepts, and technical parameters essential for assessing defects—such as cracks—in high-pressure pipelines and associated components. You will gain an in-depth understanding of assessment methods under both static and cyclic loading, including the determination of appropriate loading conditions and material properties.

Upon completing the course, you will be able to explain the history and core principles of fracture mechanics, including different modeling approaches. You will also learn to identify and apply the most effective assessment methods based on fracture mechanics. Additionally, you will be able to define and differentiate between the traditional fatigue assessment approach and the fracture mechanics approach to fatigue evaluation.
