Neil Gallon is a Principal Materials and Welding Engineer with ROSEN Integrity Services, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. With over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and consultancy, Neil has worked with industry leaders such as Tata Steel and GE, bringing a wealth of expertise to his role.
Neil holds a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge and is a Chartered Engineer as well as a professional member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining. Additionally, he is a certified International/European Welding Engineer, demonstrating his extensive credentials in the field.
His current focus lies in exploring the impact of gaseous hydrogen on materials and welds, making him a leading authority in this critical area of the energy transition.
