Fundamentals of In-Line Inspection Procedures and Technologies (CS022F)

8-Hour Expert-Led Online Course: Understand Hydrogen Pipelines and Decarbonization

About the Course:

This 8-hour live online course, led by Dr. Michael Beller, offers a comprehensive insight to in-line inspection (ILI) technologies for pipelines and cylindrical pressure vessels. Participants will explore key principles, defect assessment methods, and advanced technologies like ultrasonic testing and magnetic flux leakage. The course addresses the inspection of diverse pipeline systems, including onshore, offshore, and flexible risers, while highlighting strategies for identifying and evaluating defects such as corrosion, cracks, and leaks. It also covers practical aspects of planning, tool deployment, data evaluation, and reporting to ensure pipeline safety and integrity. By the end, attendees will gain essential knowledge to apply ILI technologies effectively in pipeline integrity management.
