Joe Short is the Head of Business Line – Integrity Management Services at ROSEN, bringing over ten years of experience in pipeline integrity consultancy for onshore and offshore assets. His expertise spans pipeline defect assessments, post-in-line inspection (ILI) evaluations, integrity engineering, and the development of integrity management procedures and strategies. Joe specializes in fitness-for-purpose (FFP) assessments, corrosion growth analysis, and ILI technologies, supported by extensive knowledge of international codes and best practices. He has led projects for operators across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and the Americas. Joe is an active member of the Australian Standards Committee, contributing to the revision of AS 2885.3 (Pipelines Operation and Maintenance) with a focus on anomaly assessment guidance. A seasoned trainer, he has delivered numerous courses on defect assessment, ILI technologies, and integrity management planning, helping operators maximize the value of ILI data.
